The GDSC Beginner-friendly Hackathon aims to introduce basic problem-solving techniques and have you apply them by solving programming challenges. This Hackathon will depend mainly on basic programming concepts. No prior programming knowledge needed!

Schedule

9:30 AM: Pre-Hackathon presentation for those who have no prior programming knowledge. In this section you will be introduced to all the concepts you need to know to participate. All the additional information such as the syntax will either be taught here or will be introduced to you during work either by us or by your teammates.  

10:00 AM: Hackathon starts. Introduction and team making. Introducing the tools/concepts that will be used.

10:30 AM: Introducing simple problem and solving it for you.

10:45 AM: 3 or 4 simple problems will be presented for you to solve.

11:30 AM: Coffee break. 

11:45 AM: Introduction to problem solving techniques with examples. 

12:30 PM: Lunch break.

1:00 PM: You will be introduced to real challenges to solve.

3:00 PM: Hackathon ends. Goodbye and online Hackathon announcement.
